Donahoe & Young LLP, a Valencia-based law firm, has announced the admission of its first new partner of the 21st Century. Taylor F. Williams joined Donahoe & Young as an associate in 2012, and became a partner as of April 2015.
Taylor’s practice focuses on business-related civil litigation, including real estate, contract and bankruptcy matters.
Ms. Williams has achieved successful outcomes for varied clients, including restoring title to wrongfully foreclosed homeowners and defeating fraudulent conveyance claims. One of Taylor’s strengths is her ability to communicate complex positions effectively whether before a judge or with clients.
Ms. Williams graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and obtained her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law. As an undergraduate, she studied abroad in Italy focusing on the Italian Mafia. While in law school, Ms. Williams clerked for Texas Governor Rick Perry, and was Associate Editor of the Journal for Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law.
Taylor has served on the Board of Directors of the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association and actively volunteers for two non-profit organizations that benefit children and animals. She enjoys running, spinning and yoga on a regular basis and recently served as a first mate on a weeklong sailing trip in the Caribbean.
Mark T. Young and Timothy C. Donahoe founded Donahoe & Young LLP in 1999.
