Circle of Hope has named Laura Kirchhoff as the new Executive Director. She will be replacing Pam Ripling who is retiring from this position this year. Out of the many candidates Laura’s unique combination of skills and experience proved to be the best fit for this position. Laura has been working with Circle of Hope since 2011 in many capacities and looks forward to leading her team to better serve the Cancer community in the Santa Clarita Valley. Her love for the organization will bring much growth to the patients they serve. Laura and the rest of the Circle of Hope members are working to grow their capabilities so that they can reach more patients in need. We congratulate her on her new role and look forward to the next big chapter with Circle of Hope.
Ed Masterson
Man of the Year
Santa Clarita Man & Woman of the Year
Ed Masterson was voted as this years’ Man of the Year. Ed has been in the Santa Clarita Valley for 31 years with his wife Valerie and two children Gage and Lizzy. He is the current Manager and Community Liaison for SOS Entertainment, and has played a major role in non-profit and business related ventures. Ed has served as a very active board member for such non-profits as WiSH Education Foundation (5 years), Repertory East Playhouse/Theatre (8 years), SCV Chamber of Commerce (16 years), Child and Family Center (10 Years), and Valley Industry Association (19 years) just to name a few. Ed has also volunteered his unique ability to entertain large crowds to several non-profit fundraisers like the annual SCV Dancing With Our Stars and Carousel Ranch. Ed is always willing to lend a hand or whatever the community might need and we wish him all the best on his future endeavors.
Pam Ingram
Woman of the Year
Santa Clarita Man & Woman of the Year
Pam Ingram has won this years’ Woman of the Year for her countless years involved with making a better community. She is a realtor with RE/MAX of Santa Clarita and enjoys being a pillar in the community. She has played an instrumental role in many non-profit organizations such as Soroptimist International of Valencia, Soroptimist of the Americas, Camino Real Region (19 Years), Child and Family Center (4 years), Betty Ferguson Foundation (8 years), Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce (8 years), Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and the Sebastian Velona Foundation (2 years). She has held many positions within the community to include President, co-chair, Vice President, treasurer and so many more. Pam has been an asset with whatever she is involved in and we congratulate her on this accomplishment.
