Logix Celebrates New Location at Bridgeport Marketplace with the Community
The grand opening at the new Logix Federal Credit Union branch at Bridgeport Marketplace on October 19 was a complete success.
About 300 members and guests celebrated with branch staff, management and other employees who came out to participate in pumpkin decorating, games and a drawing. Everyone enjoyed catering from Marston’s Restaurant, which neighbors the branch, and entertainment from the SCV Youth Orchestra.
“We are grateful to have had SCVYO participate in this celebration with us,” Community Relations Specialist Stacey Klein said. “It’s partnerships like these that allow us to connect with the community, and it gives our members a chance to see what our youth can do.”
The credit union staff was delighted to see so many Santa Clarita residents join in the festivities.
“Logix has been a community partner in this (Santa Clarita) valley for nearly three decades, and we value our involvement because we care about the areas we serve,” Branch Manager Philip Garcia said. “Our assistant branch manager, Angela Overturf, and I went to Saugus High (School) – we grew up out here. We are fortunate to provide service to our community, and help our members thrive.”
At the Bridgeport location, members can speak to friendly staff, and use Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), in lieu of a teller line. With this technology, members can transact independently and with more freedom. Checking and savings accounts, auto and mortgage loans, and credit cards are among many of the services available.
More than 36,000 members are residents of the SCV, with five branches in the immediate area – Bridgeport, Golden Valley, Stevenson Ranch, Valencia Promenade and Valencia Bouquet Canyon. Branches are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
