This year the Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation is celebrating our 10th Anniversary and the Economic Outlook event will be better than ever. Featured speaker, Mark Schniepp, Ph.D. of California Economic Forecast, will provide a detailed economic forecast at the event with a special focus on SCV. The California Economic Forecast’s special areas of expertise include regional economic analysis, economic evaluation of regions using local indicators, and longer-term forecasting of California counties.
Nationally renowned geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan will keynote the event. Mr. Zeihan is an expert in geopolitics: the study of how place impacts financial, economic, cultural, political and military developments. He has been featured in numerous newspapers and broadcasts including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, AP, Bloomberg, CNN, ABC, The New York Times, Fox News and MarketWatch.
