Chamberlain succeeds Dr. Judy Fish, who finished a three-year term as Board Chair. Fish, retired superintendent of the Saugus Union School District, will continue to serve on the board and will chair the Governance Committee and the Evaluation and Compensation Committee.
Chamberlain previously served as Board Vice Chair. He chairs the Board’s Audit and Compliance Committee. Current board member Cheri Fleming, Co-Owner of Valencia Acura, has been elected Vice Chair. In her new role, Fleming will continue to chair the Board’s Community Wellness Committee.

Stepping down from the board is Craig Peters, Executive Vice President of CBRE. Peters will continue to co-chair the Henry Mayo Newhall Foundation’s Capital Campaign Committee.
“Henry Mayo relies on the generosity of selfless community leaders to serve on our governing board,” said Roger Seaver, Henry Mayo’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are fortunate to have highly-qualified people in our community who are so willing to lend us their time and talents.”
Henry Mayo’s Board of Directors is charged with overseeing the overall quality and sustainability of hospital services, facilities, finances, properties and affairs. Each board member may hold terms of up to 12 years and ex-officio members include the Chief Executive Officer and Chief of Staff. All board members are community-minded individuals who receive no compensation for their services.
