by | May 20, 2021 | Ultimate Awards

Ray Javaherpour has worked in the restaurant industry since 1971, starting as a waiter in Florida and working his way through the various positions until he went into business for himself with Olive Terrace Bar and Grill. Eventually, Ray would come to Southern California where he and his wife worked in the hospitality industry, working for upscale and specialty restaurants like the Westwood Marquis Hotel or the Odyssey. At this time Ray held the position of District Director and moved his young family out to the Santa Clarita Valley in 1989 because of its close proximity to Los Angeles. In 2014, an opportunity came up for an ideal location in the SCV and the rest is history. Olive Terrace is the go-to place for fusion cuisine and our community continues to rave about it. “I enjoy the challenge and rewards achieved when every customer makes a comment and seeing joy in their face makes this all worthwhile,” Ray commented. Ray and his team have been committed to excellence and exceeding the customers’ expectations. “We have a great group of people here, from my family who is all involved to the culinary and service team, everyone here makes us what we are today,” Ray stated.
