They were both freshman in high school when their romance began.  He was a football player and thought she was the cutest girl ever.
She was a cheerleader who had eyes for number 78.
But it wasn’t until the end of the school year when their love story began.  The summer of 1977…June 6, to be exact.
“We were signing yearbooks and I left a message, let’s get together sometime, with my phone number.”  Since he was too chicken to use the phone number, I called him and we laughed for hours,” Margaret says.
Throughout high school, the two courted, and while there wasn’t a specific proposal, Margaret recalls, “He proposed to me casually, every day.”
On June 15, 1985, Anthony (Tone) and Margaret became husband and wife.  Together, they have a daughter Andie Tyler, (19) and a son Roman Gabriel (15).
Having relocated to Los Angeles in the 1980’s to pursue acting, Anthony landed a role on the ABC sitcom Boy Meets World alongside Ben Savage.  Eventually, the family moved to the Santa Clarita Valley where they have resided ever since.
Thirty seven years later and the Quinns are still in love.  “If you’re fortunate enough to find a compatible personality, that helps, but don’t ever think you can let a relationship as important as this coast,” says Margaret.  “Always remember this is your best friend who knows you the best and stays with you and cares for you any way.  Always remember what you promised on your wedding day.”
Tone explains, “I am to love my wife the way Christ loved the church which is sacrificially, be committed, forgiving, trusting, nurturing and protecting, and I need to do those things every day.  Essentially, do the things I promised 29 years ago.”
“There has always been this girlish quality about my wife that I have always found incredibly endearing and have always loved.  She’s funny, she’s genuine, and what I love about her is the person that she is.”
“Who doesn’t love Tone?  He’s the sweetest, funniest, most talented (at everything), humble guy I’ve ever known.  He’s the perfect guy for me.  He cooks, cleans, changed more diapers than he needed to, loves kids, trustworthy, the list goes on and on, but most importantly…he’s mine, all mine.”
Congratulations on nearly three decades of marriage, Margaret and Anthony!
