Holiday Home Tour 2018 ”Holiday Magic”
On December1, the 38th Annual Holiday Home Tour’s “Holiday Magic” will arrive! The annual fundraiser for Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital has raised upwards of $1 million dollars since its inception. This year, monies raised are designated for the Center for Women and Newborns in the new patient tower, opening late Spring of 2019.
On November 30, Preview Gala guests can be the first to tour the homes and then enjoy a festive buffet dinner at The Oaks Club in Valencia. The general tour is Saturday, December 1, and includes a Holiday Boutique on the hospital campus.
This year features four beautiful homes in Stevenson Ranch and Westridge. At the home of Raffi and Talin Bahadarian is “A Royal Christmas,” where an ornate Nativity scene takes center stage. Next up is “Foxmas,” the home of Michael and Teri Fox, who playfully incorporate foxes into their décor. (Interior of the Fox’s home not pictured at time of going to print.) Wander through Eli and Patrice Hallak’s “Holiday Cottage,” and enjoy no less than eight Christmas trees. Over at the home of Erika and Javier Puentes, the feeling of family and being home for the holidays surrounds you.
Home Tour’s talented decorators are Patrick Tremblay of Tremblay House of Design and Karen Reilly of Robella Creations, along with hand-picked design students from COC. Debbie Porter of Debbie’s Designs Inc. and Bernard Underwood of An Intimate Place/B.U. Designs are also using their talents to create magical holiday homes.
“We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated group who works to raise funds for our hospital, and also do it with such style! The Home Tour Preview Gala and Tour is the perfect event to kick off the holidays in our valley,” said Marlee Lauffer, President, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation. “We are also grateful to the homeowners who generously open up their lovely homes for the tour, helping us to provide quality healthcare for our community.”
