Join Us Under the Spotlight at the 7th Annual Dancing With Our Stars
You won’t find a better reason this year to strap on a pair of dancing shoes and come out to support the many non-profits that benefit from this year’s Dancing With Our Stars event! Last year took us over the million-dollar mark, with a fundraising total of $1.3 million since the inaugural event in 2003, and this is sure to be another hit! Join us Friday, August 26 at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center as we cheer on new and longtime community leaders under the spotlight.
Our 7th annual competition will feature 20 celebrity dancers alongside a lineup of professional dancers Vibe Performing Arts and D’Wilfri DanceArt and Entertainment. Opening the show, Santa Clarita Ballet will set the stage with a beautiful performance of “As The Piano Rolls,” choreographed by Carol Guidry. And more stunning dances are sure to follow!
“With many new faces and our special opening act, we are more excited than ever to share this lively show with our community,” said Alexander Hafizi, Vice President and event co-chair. “We’re very grateful to the contributions from our professional dance partners and leading sponsors. Their support has made this year more exciting than ever!”
This event would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors: Whitening Lightening/Gerard Cosmetics, HomeSmart NCG Santa Clarita and Elliott and Judith Wolfe Family Trust, and the City of Santa Clarita. Thanks to their support, we are able to host an event that supports 18 local non-profits and raises thousands of dollars for this community each year.
We would also like to give a special thanks to our community partners: Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Co., SOS Entertainment, Personalize This, Joie de Vivre Photographie, Brooke Ritter Photography, Jenifer Bothwell of Jenifer B Makeup Artistry, and Stylist Kelly Lampignano at N’ Style Salon and Kristy Kauk at Tranquility Salon and Spa.
Each year, celebrity dancers and professional dancers pair up to raise money for the non-profit organization they’ve chosen to represent. Guests will have the opportunity to cast money votes using script, and dancing partners also will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges. All proceeds raised from this non-for-profit event are donated directly to the benefitting organizations, including ticket sales.
Ticket prices are $35/$40/$50 and are available at www.canyonspac.com. Visit our website at www.scvdwos.com. We hope to see you on August 26!

Where Everybody Knows Your Name – And Your Goals
There’s a reason the classic TV show Cheers still resonates: it painted a picture of a place where you could walk in, feel instantly welcomed, and know you belonged. A place where people didn’t just know your name — they knew your story. In many ways, that same spirit...
