In their fifteen years together as a band, celebrated Los Angeles culture-mashers Ozomatli have established themselves as a musical force to be reckoned with. Their music — a notorious urban-Latino-and-beyond collision of hip hop and salsa, dancehall and cumbia, samba and funk, merengue and comparsa, East LA R&B and New Orleans second line, Jamaican ragga and Indian raga— has long followed a key mantra: to take you around the world by taking you around L.A. The multicultural band has played every venue, from inner city elementary schools to headlining the Hollywood Bowl. They have served as official cultural ambassadors for the U.S. State Department in Asia, Africa, South America and The Middle East, while also playing free concerts but offering musical workshops and visiting youth rehabilitation centers . Their unique blend of music and message continues to build bridges of diplomacy, making them ambassadors of their own brand of incredibly powerful musical activism.  For more information, please contact PAC Box Office and Patron Services at 661-362-5304 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Also visit www.canyonspac.com.
